Writing – Monica Pasqual

ONE-DAY WRITING WORKSHOP AT
SHAW COMMUNITY CENTER

Saturday, August 6, 10:30-4:00
Organic Spanish-style lunch included!

On the surface it’s a class about writing…
But really?

ï It’s about digging deeper into memory and history
ï Finding your unique creative voice and
ï Expressing yourself with more authenticity and originality

What will you get?

Free writes that I promise will surprise you when you read them back.
You have magic in you that’s just waiting to come out!

Descriptive writing exercises that will have you expressing yourself
more vividly by pulling from all your senses and sense memories.

A series of short, fun and interactive exercises and then…you’ll write a song or song lyric whether you’ve ever written one or not.  I promise!

At the end of the day you will feel more connected to yourself,
your creative spirit and to a community of writers.  Yay!

Originally designed for songwriters,
this workshop is great for ANYBODY
who wants to write more freely and creatively.
All levels welcome

Class cost is normally $125, but as this is the first time offered on Shaw, pay what you can between $80 and $125, or contact Monica for a scholarship.
